For me, skiing is one of the most exciting activities you can imagine. Growing up in the Engadine, a region known for its breathtaking mountains and perfect slopes, I was lucky enough to live in an environment that nurtured my passion for winter sports from an early age. According to my mother, I could ski before I could walk– an expression of how deeply rooted this enthusiasm is in me.
In addition to skiing, I also played ice hockey and did cross-country skiing. This combination has not only taught me a variety of skills, but has also intensified my passion for winter sports in general. Recently, I have also discovered the fascination of ski touring, which offers me the opportunity to experience the untouched nature and freedom of the mountains in a completely new way.
For me, a particularly beautiful aspect of skiing is the opportunity to share the joy of the sport with others. I get great pleasure from inspiring people and giving them unforgettable days on the slopes. The beaming faces and laughter of those who enjoy the slopes are the best rewards for me.
In summer I also head to the mountains where I love hiking and camping. Nature has a special appeal for me and I love experiencing the beauty of the mountains in every season. Skiing and the mountains are not just hobbies for me, but a way of life that brings me joy and fulfillment.
